Come by and check out Joshua Brolly's pieces at the 2016 Chroma Lives Exhibit.

June 1st - June 31st

Yorkville Plaza Presentation Centre

21 Avenue Road, Toronto

Chroma Lives aims to highlight the continuity between the art and craft communities of Toronto's past and present, offering a space in which ruptures, frictions, negotiations, and collaborations between the arts and urban development can be explored from the comfort of a “living room.”

With the generous support from Camrost Felcorp, Chroma Lives recreates a living room in new Yorkville Plaza condo presentation centre, just up the street from the Colonnade, with the works of seventeen Toronto-based artists. Over the course of the month-long exhibition, participants connected to the original exhibition (both directly, and indirectly) are invited to visit and speak about their experience of the event and the communities that shaped and fostered it. These conversations, with permission, will be audio or video recorded and amassed into an oral history archive that will accompany other collected material in a digital database following the event.
